The Beijing Henan Plaza (Beijing henan dasha) is a nice four star hotel in Beijing's Panjiayuan, Chaoyang District, in the northeast of the city. Although far out, it is fairly near to the nicest bars and clubs, centered around Sanlitun. From here to the airport takes a mere 30 minutes and the northern railway station is just 3.5km away. The hotel is slightly famed for its magnificent and spacious lobby and its peculiar indoor waterfall.
The rooms here are all with central air-conditioning, IDD telephone, minibar, satellite TV and teak furniture sets. The hotel also has various recreational services including an indoor pool and a sauna. For the business traveler, the business center is also quite good, with various capable services from translating, typing and air/train ticket services to FedEx and film developing.
In the culinary line there are a number of restaurants here serving a mixture of Western and Chinese dishes, from local Beijing specialties to barbecues and seafood. The best of these, for Western mouths, is the Western Food Restaurant which offers French and Russian dishes ,western style buffet and refreshments.
