Arrival in Peking, the capital of China. Our guide
will meet you at the airport and escort you to
hotel. Then visit to Summer Palace (UNESCO)
with a leisurely boat ride across the beautiful
Lake Kunming.

Excursion to the Great Wall (UNESCO) by
Badaling and visit to the Ming Tombs
(UNESCO). This evening you will be treated to a
delicious Peking roasted duck dinner.

Wandering on the Tiananmen Square and visit
the Palace Museum, known as the "Forbidden
City" (UNESCO). Afternoon visit to Temple of
Heaven (UNESCO). In the evening enjoy Pe-king
Opera or acrobatic show.

Transfer to airport and flight to Xian, the ancient
capital of China. Transfer to hotel. Visit the
ancient city wall and the Forest of Stone Steles
Museum.

Excursion to Terra-Cotta Soldiers (UNESCO) at
the Tomb of the first Qin Emperor. Visit the
Great Wild Goose Pagoda. Stroll through the
old city and the free market. In the evening
enjoy the dinner with specialities.

Transfer to airport and flight to Shanghai. Visit
to the modern city area Pudong and to the old
city with Yu Garden. Stroll through the famous
shopping street Nanjing Road and along the
historic International Concession "the Bund"
on banks of the Huangpu River. The Bund is
the perfect vantage point to view the city's
skyline by day as well as by night.

Explore Shanghai on your own.
Facultative: Full day excursion to Suzhou, the
beloved garden city of China. Highlights of the
day include the visit to two 2 famous gardens
(UNESCO) and Tiger Hill. Back to Shanghai in
the evening (B/L).

Transfer to airport. End of the program. (Inter-national
