The Minzu Hotel (Beijing minzu fandian) is within walking distance of Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City and, in a near locale, a few of the State Ministries! It is a fairly good four star, considering its location and the numerous facilities, and is with a not bad accessibility, 4km from the railway station and 45km from the airport.
There are a total of 520 rooms and suites here, including standard/deluxe rooms, superior suites, executive suites, deluxe suites and even executive floors for the business traveler. The rooms all have satellite TV, IDD telephone and mini bar.
The hotel also has a good variety of extra facilities. The Four Season Restaurant is probably the best of the Chinese restaurants here, with Huai Yang, Sichuan and Shandong food.
